Somebody call Gidget!

The colors of the waves in this photo reminded me of a poem I read a long time ago in the New Yorker that ended:
“Merged and turning to bottle-green glass,
they hold us dear as wine
as the days grow hotter”
I have no idea what the poet’s name was, and my googling finds it was in the New Yorker in 1989, but I don’t have a subscription, so I can’t find out more…anyway, great poem, and a great moment with my kids.

The Brooklyn Bridge is an amazing creation

You can’t think of anything to do…that’s Times Square.
